Khrystyna Bechy is a painter of Polish origin, born and raised in Ukraine. Her Slavic heritage lends her a strong, assertive character.

In this series of paintings, “Queens After Dark”, Khrystyna offers us the gazes of several women whose lives waver between the sublime and the brutal, and for whom beauty proves at times a gift, at times a curse, depending on the gaze of others.
