Nun of the Sacred Cats

“No one is as simple as they appear.” Rebirth and rebellion stand side by side, the better to question the way we believe in love. This work opens a dialogue between faith and instinct, between monastic rigour and carnal intoxication. Against a backdrop of stained glass, the Nun plays on all her ambiguity, surrounded by sacred felines. Some leap towards the light, others sink into the shadows. Each one moves through life in its own way. In search of love, of meaning, of a master, of the Self?
